Jim Boyd **

Jim was editor of Railfan & Railroad Magazine from 1974
until his retirement in 1997. Jim grew up in Rockford, IL
and worked for EMD in the 1960's. As you can see by the
accompanying photo, Jim knows his way around a lens.
He's also written hundreds of articles and more than a dozen
books on the subject of railroads. Jim resides in northwestern
New Jersey these days.
