"Mert" is a graduate of Cornell University. Sometime
after his Army service,
his career brought him to Oconomowoc, WI (which, for some of us,
is as difficult
to spell as it is to say) in 1962, where he and wife Mary raised
two children.
Retired now for over a dozen years, he still lives in Oconomowoc.
We are indebted to Mert for the wide variety of vintage
rail images
he so competantly captured for us and for history during
his many travels through the US.
