Tom took his very first train picture in 1947 with a box
after being inspired by a “Trains”
Magazine which he saw at a local
in Milwaukee. 55 years later, he's still working at the hobby!
Tom's family moved to Appleton, WI in 1949. He served
in the Navy during the early 1960's. Tom is a practicing lawyer,
married, with two children. And like many of our kids,
neither is interested in trains. Tom does his own darkroom
work, including E-6 'chrome processing. Recently Tom decided
to go digital, starting with an inexpensive digital camera.
Tom's not into model railroading but still treasures his
American Flyer train set from 1948 or so!
